Selector Mechanism Overview

- Before work is done with the engine running, move the selector lever into "P" and press the parking brake button to engage the electromechanical parking brake.
Before disassembling the selector mechanism, perform check. Refer to SELECTOR MECHANISM, CHECKING .

- Perform "Guided Functions" using the vehicle diagnostic tester after removing and installing the selector mechanism function unit. Refer to TRANSMISSION GUIDED FUNCTIONS .
- Shift Lock Solenoid -N110-
- Removing and installing, refer to SHIFT LOCK SOLENOID -N110-
- Transmission Park Selector Switch -F305-
- Consists of two micro-switches on the circuit board on the shift lock solenoid --
- Can only be replaced together with the shift lock solenoid --, refer to SHIFT LOCK SOLENOID -N110-
- Noise Insulation
- Not installed on all vehicles
- Lock Washers
