Transmission Control Module, Removing And Installing: Removing

NOTE:
Refer to REPAIR INFORMATION .
Refer to GUIDELINES FOR CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS .
-- Remove the end cover. Refer to END COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the cover -A-, if equipped.
-- Remove the screws -arrows- and pull out the Transmission Control Module -J217- without tilting it.
-- Remove the double lip seal -B- from the Transmission Control Module -J217-.
NOTE:
Do not touch the pins in the connector -A- using fingers.
When positioning the Transmission Control Module -J217-, make sure the sensors on the control module are not damaged.
