Left Flange Shaft Ball Bearing Mounting Bracket, Replacing

- Press Plate :VW402
- Press Piece - Multiple Use :VW412
- Press Piece - 42mm :VW516
CAUTION:
This procedure contains mandatory replaceable parts. Refer to component overview and parts information prior to starting procedure.
Mandatory Replacement Parts
- Bolts - Mounting bracket
- Retainer
- Mounting bracket
- Circlip
- Bearing
-- Remove the left flange shaft. Refer to LEFT FLANGE SHAFT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the circlip -1- from the flange shaft.
-- Remove the ball bearing -A- from the flange shaft
-- Install the new mounting bracket -1-.
- Installation position: the printed side faces the drive axle flange.
-- Install the new ball bearing -2-.
-- Install the ball bearing -A- all the way on with the mounting bracket -B- installed.
-- Install the circlip -1- in the flange shaft groove.
