ATF Lines, Removing And Installing: Removing

NOTE:

Clean working conditions for the automatic transmission. Refer to GUIDELINES FOR CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS .

-- Remove the noise insulations. Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING / OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .

NOTE:

Place a clean cloth under the separating point to catch the escaping ATF.

-- Remove the union nuts -arrows-.

-- Place the :SMN372500 under the transmission.

-- Mark the ATF pipes for installing the ATF pipe-hose lines

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and then remove ATF pipes from the transmission.

-- Seal the open lines and connections with clean plugs from the :VAS6122 .
