Bearing "C" (Roller Bearing For Disc Set "I"), Checking

-- Check bearing "C" -arrow- for damage:

The roller bearing must not have any surface damage.
The bearing cage must not have any cracks or breaks.

-- To see if there is any damage on the roller bearings, run a finger nail over the entire running surface.

Very light wear grooves and damage that cannot be detected with the finger nail can be disregarded.
When there are wear grooves and damage that can be detected with the finger nail, then the bearing must be replaced.

-- Check the running surface on disc set "I" and in the outer race. Refer to DISC SET I AND II, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
