Wear, Checking On Bearing 11 And F In Bearing Flange

Bearing "11" for Differential Shaft, Checking
-- Check the bearing -arrow- for damage:
- The roller bearing must not have any surface damage.
- The bearing cage must not have any cracks or breaks.
-- To see if there is any damage on the roller bearings, run a finger nail over the entire running surface.
- Very light wear grooves and damage that cannot be detected with the finger nail can be disregarded.
- When there are wear grooves and damage that can be detected with the finger nail, then the bearing must be replaced.
-- Check the running surface on the differential shaft as well.
Bearing Race for Bearing "F" for Disc Set "II"
-- To see if there is any damage on the bearing race -arrow-, run a finger nail over the entire running surface.
- Very light wear grooves and damage that cannot be detected with the finger nail can be disregarded.
- When there are wear grooves and damage that can be detected with the finger nail, then the bearing race for bearing "F" must be replaced.
