-- Try to install the thickest circlip in the groove on the transmission housing.
- It should be easy to insert the circlip without bending it.
- The circlip must fit inside the bottom of the groove.
-- If the circlip cannot be inserted, try to insert the next thinner circlip. Use the thinnest circlip if necessary.
-- Replace the ATF filter. Refer to ATF .
-- Fill the ATF after installing the transmission. Refer to ATF, FILLING FOR ATF FLUSH .
