Cruise control system, activating/deactivating

NOTE:
- Vehicles equipped with CCS, the CCS function must be activated after replacement of the engine control module.
- If the CCS function is activated in the engine control module of a vehicle without CCS, a DTC memory entry is made. If this is the case, the CCS function must be deactivated.
Procedure
- Connect vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS5051. Refer to Vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS5051, connecting and select functions and select vehicle system "01 - Engine electronics" in selection. Ignition must be switched on.
Display on VAS5051:
- Under -1- select diagnostic function "11 - Coding II".

Display on VAS5051:
1 - Enter code word
Activate CCS
- Enter "11463" in zone -2- and confirm entry by pressing -Q- button.
Deactivate CCS
- Enter "16167" in zone -2- and confirm the entry by pressing -Q- button.
- Exit function "11 - Login, or function 11 - Coding II" by pressing ← button.
Display on VAS5051:
- Under -1- select diagnostic function "08 - Read measured value block".
Display on VAS5051:
1 - Enter display group
- Enter "066" for "display group number 066" in zone -2- and confirm entry by pressing -Q- button.
Display on VAS5051:
- Check indication in display field -2-.
