Left And Right Timing Chain Covers, Removing And Installing: Removing:

NOTE:

During installation, all cable ties must be installed at the same location.

The cover sealant has strong adhesive properties. Pry off the cover slowly and evenly so that it does not bend.

-- Remove the engine compartment cover. Refer to ENGINE COMPARTMENT COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the rear engine cover -2- upward.

-- Remove the affected secondary air injection combination valve. Refer to left LEFT SECONDARY AIR INJECTION COMBINATION VALVE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING , and right RIGHT SECONDARY AIR INJECTION COMBINATION VALVE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Left Timing Chain Cover

-- Remove the bolts -1 through 8- and the bracket -arrows A and B-.

-- Carefully remove the left timing chain cover from the bonding.

Right Timing Chain Cover

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- and push the bracket -1- with the wiring harness to the side.

-- Remove the bolts -1 through 8-.

-- Carefully remove the right timing chain cover from the bonding.
