Multifunction Transmission Range Switch -F125-, REMOVING, INSTALLING AND ADJUSTING: Removing

For the sake of clarity, the figure shows a removed transmission.

-- Move the selector lever into "P".

-- Remove the cap nut -4-.

-- Remove cover -3- from the selector shaft.

-- Carefully bend back the hooks on lock washer -1- using a screwdriver.

If a hook breaks, the washer must be replaced.

-- Now remove nut -2- and lock washer -1- from the selector shaft.

-- Disconnect the connector from the Multifunction Transmission Range Switch -F125-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows B- and the multifunction switch -arrow A- from the selector shaft.
