Installing And Adjusting

-- Position the lever/selector shaft on the transmission in the "N" position.

-- Install the Multifunction Transmission Range Switch -F125- onto the selector shaft.

-- Tighten bolts -arrows B- for the Multifunction Transmission Range Switch -F125- by hand.

-- Place the :T10173  on the selector shaft.

-- Disconnect the selector lever cable.

-- Turn the multifunction transmission range switch -A- until the tab on the connector -arrow 1- locks into the groove on the :T10173  .

-- Tighten the bolts -arrows- for the Multifunction Transmission Range Switch -F125-.

-- Now remove the :T10173  from the selector shaft.

-- Install selector lever cable.

Further installation is performed in the reverse order.

-- Check selector lever cable adjustment. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE, CHECKING AND ADJUSTING .
