Oil Pump, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the oil pan lower section. Refer to OIL PAN LOWER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the oil baffle. Refer to -item ) OVERVIEW - OIL PUMP AND OIL PAN LOWER SECTION - OIL BAFFLE.

-- Remove the screws -1-.

-- Hold the oil pump drive shaft -2- with the Long Nose Locking Pliers:VAS6226 and push it against the spring force.

-- Remove the oil pump.

NOTE:

The oil pump input shaft remains installed.
