Oil Pan Upper Section, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the engine. Refer to ENGINE, REMOVING .

-- Separate engine/transmission unit. Refer to REMOVING ENGINE FROM Scissor Lift Table .

-- Secure engine to assembly stand. Refer to ENGINE, SECURING ON ASSEMBLY STAND .

-- Remove the drive plate. Refer to DRIVE PLATE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the shim behind it.

-- Remove covers for timing chains. Refer to LOWER TIMING CHAIN COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the chain for the oil pump and balance shaft. Refer to BALANCE SHAFT AND OIL PUMP CHAIN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the sealing flange, belt pulley side. Refer to FRONT SEALING FLANGE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove lower section of oil pan. Refer to OIL PAN LOWER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove oil pump. Refer to OIL PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -1 to 4- from the oil pan upper section.

-- Press upper part of oil pan from alignment pins of cylinder block.
