Overview - Cylinder Head Cover: Notes

NOTE:

  1. Cylinder Head Cover Gasket
    • Replace if damaged or leaking
  2. Cylinder Head Cover
  3. Special Bolt
    • 9 Nm
    • Replace if damaged or leaking
    • Tighten diagonally starting from the inside and working toward the outside in steps
  4. O-Ring
    • Replace
  5. Oil Filler Neck
    • To remove, lift the tab, turn the oil filler neck to the left and remove it.
  6. Seal
    • Replace if damaged or leaking
  7. Seal
    • Replace if damaged or leaking
  8. Cap
  9. Hex Collar Bolt
    • 10 Nm
    • For the tension clamp
  10. High Pressure Line
    • Follow the guidelines for clean working conditions. Refer to CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS AND FUEL SYSTEM WORK INSTRUCTIONS .
    • Mark the assignment of the high pressure lines to the injector units.
    • Do not change the angles of the high pressure lines
    • Tighten the high pressure lines on the high pressure reservoirs with a 19 mm wrenchFigure.
    • Tighten the high pressure lines on the high pressure reservoirs with a 14 mm wrenchFigure.
    • Tighten the high pressure lines on the injector units. Refer to Figure.
  11. Fuel Return Line
  12. O-Ring
    • Replace
  13. Bolt
    • 5.5 Nm
    • Injector unit cover to cylinder head cover
  14. Tension Clamp
    • Injectors and tensioning brackets that have been removed and are being reinstalled may only be installed in the same cylinder.
    • If the injector unit (injector) is being replaced, then the tension bracket must also be replaced.
  15. Bolt
    • 9 Nm
  16. Bracket
    • For the connectors
    • Different versions, allocation Parts Information
  17. Injector
  18. Bolt
    • 9 Nm
    • Installed only on vehicles with engine code CATA
  19. Bracket
    • For the electrical wiring harness
    • Installed only on vehicles with engine code CATA
  20. O-Ring
    • Replace
  21. Copper Ring
    • Replace
