Condenser, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Observe safety precautions when working on the high voltage system. Refer to HIGH VOLTAGE SYSTEM SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .

-- Pay attention to safety precautions for working near high voltage components. Refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS NEAR HIGH VOLTAGE COMPONENTS .

-- Note the high voltage system danger classification. Refer to HIGH VOLTAGE SYSTEM GENERAL WARNINGS .

Additional work for Hybrid Vehicles 

-- Note the high voltage system danger classification. Refer to HIGH VOLTAGE SYSTEM GENERAL WARNINGS .

-- Remove the coolant reservoir and move it to the side. Refer to COOLANT SYSTEM [For engine(s) CATA] .

Vehicles with Refrigerant R134a 

-- Drain the refrigerant circuit. Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT .

Vehicles with Refrigerant R1234yf 

-- Drain the refrigerant circuit. Refer to appropriate service information. .

Continuation for All Vehicles

CAUTION:

Danger or frostbite due to refrigerant coming out under pressure.

Frostbite on the skin and other parts of the body is possible.

- Wear safety gloves.

- Wear protective eyewear.

- Extract refrigerant and open the refrigerant circuit immediately.

- If more than 10 minutes elapse after extracting the refrigerant and the refrigerant circuit was not opened, extract the refrigerant again. Evaporation can cause pressure to develop in the refrigerant circuit.

-- For all the following work, close the open lines and connections with clean plugs from the :VAS6122  .

-- Disassemble the radiator module. Refer to appropriate service information. .
