Overview - Heater And A/C Unit
Under certain conditions, the desiccant bag/dryer cartridge no longer needs to be replaced each time the refrigerant circuit is opened on A/C systems with refrigerant R1234yf. Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT .
Under certain conditions, the dryer bag no longer needs to be replaced each time the refrigerant circuit is opened on A/C systems with refrigerant R134a. Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT .
Perform the following work after the repairs have been completed: Conduct the basic setting using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
- Left B-Pillar Air Guide Channel
- Removal and installation
-- Remove the front seat. Refer to Front Seats .
-- Remove the left B-pillar trim panel. Refer to Pillar Trim .
-- Lift the carpet and remove the two air guide channel nuts (2 Nm).
- Removal and installation
- Left Footwell Air Guide Channel
- Removal and installation
-- Remove the front seat. Refer to FRONT SEATS .
-- Lift the carpet and remove the air guide channel screw (2 Nm).
- Removal and installation
- Left Air Guide Channel
- Connection to the B-pillar air guide channel
- Removal and installation
-- Remove the front seat. Refer to FRONT SEATS .
-- Lift the carpet and unclip the air guide channel.
- Left B-Pillar/Footwell Shut-Off Door Motor -V212-
- Removal and installation
-- Remove the front seat. Refer to FRONT SEATS .
-- Remove the center console. Refer to STORAGE COMPARTMENTS, COVERS AND TRIM .
-- Lift the carpet and remove the screws from the Left B-Pillar/Footwell Shut-Off Door Motor -V212-.
- Removal and installation
- Right Rear Upper Body Vent Motor -V316-
- Removal and installation
-- Remove the center console. Refer to STORAGE COMPARTMENTS, COVERS AND TRIM .
-- Remove screws from the Right Rear Upper Body Vent Motor -V316-.
- Removal and installation
- Right B-Pillar/Footwell Shut-Off Door Motor -V211-
- Removal and installation
-- Remove the front seat. Refer to FRONT SEATS .
-- Remove the center console. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Lift the carpet and remove the screws from the Right B-Pillar/Footwell Shut-Off Door Motor -V211-.
- Removal and installation
- Air Guide Channel with B-Pillar Shut-Off Door and Right Footwell
- Removal and installation
-- Remove the front seat. Refer to FRONT SEATS .
-- Lift the carpet and remove the 2 nuts (2 Nm) at the air guide channel.

- Connection to the B-pillar air guide channel
- Removal and installation
-- Remove the front seat. Refer to FRONT SEATS .
-- Lift the carpet and unclip the air guide channel.
- Right Footwell Air Guide Channel
- Removal and installation
-- Remove the front seat. Refer to FRONT SEATS .
-- Lift the carpet and remove the screw (2 Nm) at the air guide channel.

-- Remove the front seat. Refer to FRONT SEATS .
-- Remove the right B-pillar trim panel. Refer to B-PILLAR TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Lift the carpet and remove the two air guide channel nuts (2 Nm).

-- Lift the carpet and remove the screw (1.4 Nm) at the air guide channel.

-- Lift the carpet and remove the three screws (2 Nm) at the air guide channel.
