- Torque Wrench 1331 5-50Nm:VAG1331
- Hose Clip Pliers:VAS6362
- Hose Clamps - Up To 25 mm:3094
- Hose Clip Pliers:VAG1921
- Spring Clip Pliers:VAS6499
- Hose Clip Pliers:VAS6340
-- Remove the wheel housing liner. Refer to WHEEL HOUSING LINER .
-- Remove the bolts -4- (8 ± 0.9 Nm) and nut -2- (6 ± 0.5 Nm) .
-- Remove the brackets -1 and 3- with the hoses downward in direction of -arrow-.
-- Remove the bolt -6- (9 ± 0.5 Nm ) and clamp -1-.
The cooling system is under pressure when the engine is warm. There is a risk of scalding from hot steam and coolant.
Burns on the skin and other parts of the body is possible.
- Wear Protective Gloves.
- Wear Protective Eyewear.
- Reduce the pressure: cover the coolant reservoir cap with a cloth and carefully open.
-- Loosen the clamps -2 and 4- and disconnect the coolant hoses from the Coolant Shut-Off Valve -N82-.
-- Remove the Coolant Shut-Off Valve -N82- -3- from the bracket -5- in direction of -arrow-.
