Hardy Discs, Changing To Gate Connection: Removing

NOTE:

Order the Adapter:07Z 260 361 before converting from hardy discs to a gate connection.

The power steering pump must also be replaced during the conversion. .

-- Remove the engine. Refer to ENGINE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING For engine(s) CGRA] .

-- Remove the Air Conditioning (A/C) compressor. Refer to SYSTEM OVERVIEW - REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT .

-- Secure the A/C compressor in a vise with claw protectors.

-- Remove the flange on the overload protection -5-.

-- Screw the Adapter:07Z 260 361 -3- into the overload protection -2- of the A/C compressor -1-.

-- Install the mount with free-running hub -4- onto the adapter -3-.

-- Tighten the mount with free-running hub -4- with the :3400 .

-- Lock the A/C compressor using the :T10172A and the :T10172/1 and tighten the mount with free-running hub.

Tightening specification: 80 Nm
