SUBFRAME, Securing: Notes

Special Tools And Workshop Equipment Required
- Assembly Carrier Locating Pins:T10300
- Torque Wrench 1332 40-200 Nm :VAG1332
- Torque Wrench 1331 5-50 Nm :VAG1331
- Engine and Gearbox Jack:VAS6931 or
- Scissor Lift Table:VAS6131
-- Place the Engine and Gearbox Jack:VAS6931 or the necessary mounts under the subframe.
-- Unscrew one of the front bolts of the subframe -arrow-.
-- Install the Assembly Carrier Locating Pins:T10300 -1-.
-- Screw in the Assembly Carrier Locating Pins:T10300 by hand to the marking -A-.
-- Tighten the Assembly Carrier Locating Pins:T10300 to 30 Nm while counter-holding the sleeve at the wrench surfaces using an open-end wrench to prevent it from turning.
-- The same procedure must be performed for the second rear bolt of the subframe.
The subframe position is now secured.
The removal of the Assembly Carrier Locating Pins:T10300 is performed in reverse order.
