Evacuating And Charging Valve With SCHRADER Valve

Special Tools And Workshop Equipment Required 

CAUTION:

Danger or frostbite due to refrigerant coming out under pressure.

Frostbite on the skin and other parts of the body is possible.

- Wear safety gloves.

- Wear protective eyewear.

- Extract refrigerant and open the refrigerant circuit immediately.

- If more than 10 minutes elapse after extracting the refrigerant and the refrigerant circuit was not opened, extract the refrigerant again. Evaporation can cause pressure to develop in the refrigerant circuit.

NOTE:

Torque Wrench 1783 - 2-10 Nm :VAG1783  with Torque Wrench 1783 - 1/4" Drive Ratchet:VAS6234 

Use a suitable Refrigerant Sockets:T10364  to loosen the Schrader valve insert. Refer to Refrigerant SocketsT10364 for the High Pressure/Low Pressure Side Service Connection Valves in the Refrigerant Circuit .

- Service connection (soldered in)

- Schrader valve insert (2.4 ± 0.2 Nm  )

- O-ring (belongs to the valve)

- Sealing cap with seal
