Battery Regulation Control Module -J840-, Removing And Installing: Installing

-- Connect the connector -6- and install the wiring harness.

-- Insert the Battery Regulation Control Module -J840- into the E-box and install both connectors -4 and 5- until they can be felt engage.

-- Position the Battery Regulation Control Module -J840- in the E-box.

-- Fasten the ground cable (cable shoe) to the Battery Regulation Control Module -J840- in the E-box.

-- Secure the Battery Regulation Control Module -J840- and the ground cable with both bolts -3-.

-- Tighten both bolts -2- on the service plug mount.

-- Insert the connectors -1, 2 and 3-, -2- in the Battery Regulation Control Module -J840- until they can be felt engage.

-- Secure the wire with a new cable tie -arrow-.

-- Check the wiring routing for the E-box wiring harness before installing the cover.

-- Position the E-box cover and fasten it with the eight bolts -1-.

-- Install the Hybrid Battery Unit -AX1-. Refer to HYBRID BATTERY UNIT -AX1-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Restart the high voltage system and complete the required documentation. Refer to RESTARTING THE HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
