Battery Fans --, Removing And Installing: Removing

WARNING:

Hybrid vehicle high voltage in the high voltage system. Danger of electrocution! The following procedure requires working on the high voltage system. Disable the high voltage system now. Refer to DISABLING THE HIGH VOLTAGE SYSTEM .

-- Disable the high voltage system. Refer to HIGH VOLTAGE SYSTEM GENERAL WARNINGS .

-- Remove the Hybrid Battery Unit -AX1-. Refer to HYBRID BATTERY UNIT -AX1-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the six bolts -1- and remove the ventilation guide.

-- Unclip the connector on the fan being removed from its retainer on the Hybrid Battery Unit -AX1-.

-- Remove the three bolts -2- of the respective fan and then remove the fan from the Hybrid Battery Unit -AX1-.
