Starter, 3.0L TDI, 176 Kw, Automatic Transmission Ag8, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- With the ignition switched off, disconnect the battery Ground (GND) cable. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Remove the air-cooled generator. Refer to GENERATOR, 3.0L TDI ENGINE .

-- Remove the bolt -2-.

Ignore item -1-.

-- Remove bolt -arrow-.

-- Leave ATF line in installation location.

-- Unlock and disconnect the connector -2-.
