Wheel bearing part number 7P6 407 XXX may be found on vehicles with 17, 20, or 21 inch wheels. Refer to the Parts Information for allocation.

  1. Wheel Bearing
  2. Circlip
    • Check for proper seating
  3. Wheel Hub
  4. Nut
    • 500 Nm 
    • Always replace if removed
    • Self-locking
  5. Tie Rod
    • Tapered plug must be free of oil and grease
    • If necessary, clean with a dry rag, do not use cleaning solvent
    • Removing and installing. Refer to TIE ROD END, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
  6. Front Speed Sensor
  7. Bolt
    • 8 Nm 
  8. Bolt
    • 20 Nm 
    • Quantity: 3
  9. Cover Plate
  10. Nut
    • 90 Nm 
    • Always replace if removed
  11. Wheel Bearing Housing
    • Tapered holes must be free of oil and grease
    • If necessary, clean with a dry rag, do not use cleaning solvent
    • Removing and installing. Refer to WHEEL BEARING HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
    • For the allocation. Refer to the Parts Information.
  12. Drive Axle
    • Removing and installing. Refer to DRIVE AXLE .
    • Apply a coat of Assembly Paste:G 052 109 A2  to the splines before assembly
  13. Wiring Bracket
  14. Bolt
    • 20 Nm 
  15. Bolt
    • 9 Nm 
  16. Bracket
