Wheel Bearing, P/N 7P0 505 XXX, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note The Following:

-- Position the wheel bearing unit on the gearing of the drive axle.

-- Tighten the bolts -arrows- below the drive axle by hand.

-- Tighten the bolts -arrows- above the drive axle by hand.

-- Tighten the wheel bearing unit bolts.

-- Pull in the drive axle.

Drive Axle Fitting Tool:T10206

-- Install the brake caliper and brake rotor. Refer to Front Brakes, Servicing .

-- Loosen the 12-point nut for the drive axle on the wheel hub. Refer to TWELVE-POINT NUT OF DRIVE AXLE THREADED CONNECTION, LOOSENING AND TIGHTENING .

-- Install the wheel and tighten. Refer to WHEEL BOLT TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS .
