Stabilizer Bar Mount, Removing And Installing: Installing: Notes

Install in reverse order of removal. Note The Following:

-- Ensure proper seating of the mount halves -1- on the hexagon guide -arrow- of the stabilizer bar.

-- Carefully press the mount halves together until the tabs engage audibly.

-- Install the stabilizer bar clamp -1-.

-- Tighten the bolts -arrows- for the stabilizer bar clamp -1- on the subframe by hand.

Vehicles With V6 TDI Engine

-- Install the damper -2- on the stabilizer bar clamp and tighten the retaining bolt by hand.

Continuation For All Vehicles

-- Tighten the bolts for the stabilizer bar clamp to the specified torque.

Vehicles With V6 TDI Engine

-- Install the cap -1- on the damper -2-.
