Tightening Specifications

Component Tightening Specification
Upper control arm to steering knuckle
  • Use new nut.
 85 Nm 
Union screw, pressure/return line to the steering gear 32 Nm 
Universal joint to steering gear
  • Use new bolt.
 20 Nm  + 90°
Heat shield to steering gear/universal joint 9 Nm 
Subframe to body
  • Use new bolts.
 120 Nm  +180°
Coupling rod to stabilizer bar
  • Use new nut.
 110 Nm 
Air spring shock absorber/steel spring shock absorber to the control arm
  • Use new bolt and nut.
 150 Nm  + 90°
