Tightening Specifications

Component Tightening Specification
Upper control arm to steering knuckle
  • Use new nut.
 85 Nm 
Lower control arm to the wheel bearing housing for 18" suspension (cast aluminum)
  • Use new nut.
 130 Nm 
Lower control arm to the wheel bearing housing for 17" suspension (cast steel)
  • Use new nut.
 110 Nm 
Tie rod end to wheel bearing housing
  • Use new nut.
 90 Nm 
Drive Axle to the wheel bearing
  • Use new nut
 500 Nm 
Cover plate to wheel bearing housing for 17" suspension 20 Nm 
Wheel bearing housing cover plate 18" suspension 9 Nm 
Upper bracket for brake line to wheel bearing housing 9 Nm 
Lower bracket for brake line to wheel bearing housing 20 Nm
