Pressing In

-- Install the tools on the lower control arm as shown in the figure.

  1. Hydraulic Press - Bushing Assembly Tool Kit - Nut:T10230/2 
  2. Hydraulic Press - Bushing Assembly Tool Kit - Thrust Piece:T10230/8 
  3. Lower Control Arm
  4. Bonded Rubber Bushing
  5. Hydraulic Press - Bushing Assembly Tool Kit - Thrust Piece:T10230/7 
  6. Hydraulic Press:VAS6178  with Bearing Installer - Wheel Hub/Bearing Kit- Adapter 13:T10205/13 

-- Press in the bonded rubber mount to the stop.

By doing this, core of bonded rubber bushing is pressed in by Hydraulic Press - Bushing Assembly Tool Kit - Thrust Piece:T10230/6  more than might be required. However, this is necessary so that bonded rubber bushing lip makes contact with control arm on outside. After loosening Hydraulic Press:VAS6178  , bonded rubber bushing core settles into correct position.
