Pressing In

-- Align the bonded rubber mount so that the cams -arrows- point straight downward.

The imaginary center line should be at approximately a 90° angle in relation to the lower edge of the control arm.

-- Install the tools on the lower control arm as shown in the figure.

  1. Hydraulic Press:VAS6178  with Bearing Installer - Wheel Hub/Bearing Kit- Adapter 13:T10205/13 
  2. Hydraulic Press - Bushing Assembly Tool Kit - Press Plate:T10230/12 
  3. Bonded Rubber Bushing
  4. Lower Control Arm
  5. Hydraulic Press - Bushing Assembly Tool Kit - Thrust Piece:T10230/16 
  6. Hydraulic Press - Bushing Assembly Tool Kit - Spindle:T10230/1  and Hydraulic Press - Bushing Assembly Tool Kit - Nut: T10230/2 

-- Install the bonded rubber bushing.
