Install The Upper Spring Washer

-- INSTALL THE UPPER SPRING WASHER -2- properly on the upper spring support -1-.

NOTE:

The markings of the upper spring support and the upper spring washer must be aligned.

-- Engage the boot in the support bearing.

-- Tighten new hex nut to piston rod.

-- Relieve the tension on the Spring Tensioner:VAS6046 and remove from the coil spring.

-- Install the steel spring shock absorber. Refer to STEEL SPRING SHOCK ABSORBER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
