Air Spring Shock Absorber

-- Before loosening the air line when installed, check whether the air spring is still filled with a residual pressure of approximately 3 bar (43.5 psi).

-- To do so push the air spring bead with thumbs. The bead must demonstrate noticeable resistance.

-- If significant resistance is not noticed, the air spring is not pressurized.

-- The vehicle can be driven up to 100 km (62 miles) with a depressurized air spring.

-- The air spring must be replaced together with the pressure-holding valve when the vehicle is driven more than 100 km (62 miles) with a depressurized air spring.
