Drive Axle, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.Note The Following:

-- Insert outer joint as far as possible into wheel hub splines.

-- Seat drive axle as far as the stop using Driveshaft Fitting Tool:T10206 .

-- Remove the Driveshaft Fitting Tool:T10206 .

-- Loosen the 12-point nut for the drive axle on the wheel hub. Refer to TWELVE-POINT NUT OF DRIVE AXLE THREADED CONNECTION, LOOSENING AND TIGHTENING .

-- Install the wheel and tighten. Refer to WHEEL BOLT TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS .
