-- Remove the rear lid trim panel. Refer to REAR DOOR TRIM PANELS .

-- Depending on the equipment, disconnect the harness connectors -4 and 5- from the release button -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -3-.

-- Remove the protective cap -2-.

-- Remove the release element -1- from the rear lid.
