Gas-Filled Strut, Venting

-- Clamp the gas-filled strut in area -x- = 50 mm into the vise.

WARNING:

Only clamp the gas strut in area -x-. Otherwise, an accident may occur.

-- Saw into the cylindrical part of strut in the first third of the total cylinder length, determined starting from the edge of the cover on the side with the piston rod.

NOTE:

Protective eyewear must be worn during the cutting process.

Cover the area of the saw cut with a clean rag.

Dispose of the oil and cleaning cloths properly.
