Bumper Cover, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Secure the connectors.

-- Install the rear bumper cover -1- together with a second technician in direction of -arrows a-.

NOTE:

Be sure to hold the rear bumper cover parallel when guiding it onto the left and right guide profiles.

-- Press the rear bumper cover -1- onto the left and right guide profiles -4- -arrows b- until they engage audibly.

-- Pay attention to the parallel alignment and the gap dimensions. Refer to appropriate service information.

-- Tighten the bolts -6, 7 and 8-.

-- Engage the wheel cover -5- with the bumper cover -1- in direction of -arrow-.

-- Tighten the bolts -9-.

-- Tighten the bolts -2-.

-- Secure the right and left clip -3-.
