NOTE:

The ERA Glonass can only be operated, when the diverse criteria are met and the status LED is green.

If the LED is red, then do the following.

-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester -- and start the Guided Fault Finding, Selection .

-- Select the following program path:

Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit 2
Partial System Conditions
J949 ERA-Glonass, Operating

Various functions of the ERA-Glonass system are checked or performed in the program.

Checking DTCs
Resetting using ODIS
Checking GNSS reception
Checking GSM reception
Wait 10 minutes, then perform the terminal 15 cycle.

If the LED is still red after 10 minutes and after the terminal 15 cycle, Do The Following.

-- Create a DISS ticket via ELSA.

-- Preform the actions according to the TSC instructions.

NOTE:

Russia: if the status LED is green and the test call has failed for example by repeating, then write a DISS message and follow the TSC instructions.
