Supercharger, Securing To Engine/Transmission Holder For Repair Work: Procedure

Supercharger removed. Refer to SUPERCHARGER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Insert the Gearbox Support:T40206 with Gearbox Support:T40206/1 in the Engine and Gearbox Bracket:VAS6095A .

-- Secure the supercharger on the transmission holder as shown. For the bolted connections -1-, use the holes "1", "4", "9", "11" and "13".

-- Attach the Gearbox Support Supplement:T40206/2 directly to the compressor housing at the front and on the right side using the bolt -2-.

Installation position of the Gearbox Support Supplement:T40206/2 :

The seals -arrow 1- on the support must face downward.
It is possible to see and reach the charge air cooler through the openings -arrow 2- inside the supercharger housing.
