Sealant Application For Guide Frame, Position Of Alignment Bushings

Fig 1: Applying Sealant Beads To Clean Sealing Surfaces Of Guide Frame

-- Clean the sealing surfaces; they must be top and bottom free from oil and grease.

-- Apply sealant beads -arrows- to the clean sealing surfaces on the guide frame as shown in the illustration.

The groove of sealing surface must be completely filled with sealant.
The sealant beads must be 1.5 to 2.0 mm above the sealing surface.

-- Position the seals -1 and 2-.

-- Check if alignment bushings -3 through 6- are inserted at the locations in the guide frame as shown in the illustration.
