Checking The Piston Ring Gap

-- Push ring squarely from above down to approximately 15 mm from bottom end of cylinder. To do this use a piston without rings.

Piston Ring Dimensions in mm New Wear Limit
1. Compression ring 0.25 to 0.38 0.80
2. Compression ring 0.70 to 0.90 1.30
Oil scraping ring Maximum 0.40 0.70
