Left Exhaust Manifold, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:

Replace seals, gaskets, O-rings and self-locking nuts.

Secure all hose connections with hose clamps appropriate for the model. Refer to the Parts Information.

-- Tighten the connecting bolt between the connecting pipe and exhaust manifold as follows:

-- Partially tighten to 10 Nm using a torque wrench.

-- Using torque wrench, tighten to 30 Nm.

-- With TORX^® key, 90° (¹ /₄ turn) additional turn.

-- Align the exhaust system so it is free of tension.

-- Check the power steering fluid level. Refer to the appropriate Service Information.
