EGR Motor -V338-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, CASA, CASD: Removing

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the EGR Cooler Switch-Over Valve -N345- -item 1- from the bracket.
-- Loosen the bolt -4- a few turns.
NOTE:
Ignore items -2 and 3- and the -arrows-.
-- Briefly open the coolant reservoir cap to reduce the residual pressure in the coolant system.
-- Loosen the hose clamp -arrow- to remove the coolant hose, if equipped.
-- Close open lines and connections with clean plugs from the Engine Bung Set: VAS6122 .
-- Disconnect the connector -1-.
NOTE:
If the adjustment motor is tight due to coking, spray commercially available rust remover on the flange gap and let it stand for some time.
-- Remove the screws -arrows- and the EGR Motor -V338-.
