Exhaust Manifold, Removing And Installing, Left (Bank 2): Removing

WARNING:

Hybrid vehicles have a high voltage system! Danger of electrical shock! When performing the following work, it is also necessary to work on the high voltage system. De-energize the high voltage system now. Refer to appropriate service information. .

NOTE:

During installation, all cable ties must be installed at the same location.

-- Remove the electric drive power and control electronics. Refer to HYBRID TECHNOLOGY, GENERAL DESCRIPTION .

-- Loosen the power steering fluid reservoir and move it to the side.

-- Remove the left catalytic converter (bank 2) from the exhaust manifold.

-- Remove the rear bracket from the catalytic converter and pull the catalytic converter slightly toward the rear.

-- Remove the Heated Oxygen Sensor 2 -G108- -arrow-.

-- Remove the bolts -1 through 4- and remove the heat shield.

-- Remove the nuts -1 and 2- and remove the heat shield bracket.

-- Remove the nuts -1 through 7- and remove the exhaust manifold.
