Exhaust Manifold, Removing And Installing: Removing

Proceed as follows: 

NOTE:

During installation, all cable ties must be installed at the same location.

-- Disconnect hoses -1 and 2- and remove the air Guide pipe -arrows-.

-- Disconnect the connector -1- at the Throttle Valve Control Module -J338-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the Throttle Valve Control Module - J338-.

-- Remove vacuum lines on intake manifold as follows:

1 - For Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister, press release buttons

3 - For the brake booster -arrow-

NOTE:

Ignore item -2-.

-- Remove the air filter upper part.

-- Remove bolts -arrows- and remove bracket.

-- Remove bolts -1 and 2- and remove heat shield.

-- Unscrew the retaining bolt for catalytic converter exhaust bank 2 -arrow- from below.

-- Unscrew the retaining bolts for catalytic converter exhaust bank 1 -arrows- from above.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- and remove the pre-catalytic converters from the exhaust manifolds.

-- Remove 6 nuts from each exhaust manifold -arrows- and remove the exhaust manifold.
