Installing

NOTE:

There must be a metal sleeve -arrow- inside the coolant connection. Replace the coolant connection if the metal sleeve is missing.

-- Clean the sealing ring surface.

-- Install the coolant thermostat into the coolant pipe.

Installation position: the edges on coolant thermostat and housing must align -arrows-.

-- Coat the new sealing with coolant and install it on the coolant connector.

-- Install the coolant connector and sealing ring and tighten the screws in a diagonal sequence.

Tightening specification: 5 Nm

-- Secure the coolant hoses to the intake manifold.

-- Fill the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, FILLING .

-- Install the noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION .
