Removing:

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to Noise Insulation .

-- Drain the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING .

-- Remove the ribbed belt. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

NOTE:

For removal of the coolant pump, the belt pulley can remain installed.

-- Remove coolant pump bolts through holes in belt pulley -arrows- and remove coolant pump.

If coolant pump must be replaced:

-- Remove coolant pump belt pulley. To do so, counterhold belt pulley using a drift (standard).
