Installing

Install in reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Check sprayed-on coolant pump seal. If seal is damaged, coolant pump must be replaced.

-- Install coolant pump.

-- Tighten mounting bolts for coolant pump. Tightening specification: 8 Nm.

-- Install belt pulley for coolant pump. Tightening specification: 20 Nm

-- Install the ribbed belt. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Fill with new coolant. Refer to COOLANT, FILLING .
