Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62-, Removing And Installing: Removing:

-- Briefly open the coolant reservoir cap to reduce the residual pressure in the coolant system.

-- Remove the engine compartment cover. Refer to ENGINE COMPARTMENT COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the front engine cover -1- upward.

-- Disconnect the connector -1- on the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor - G62-.

NOTE:

Place a cleaning cloth underneath to catch any escaping coolant.

Ignore -arrow-.

-- Remove the retaining clip -2- and the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62-.
