Relay And Fuse Panel 1 -SR1-, Removing And Installing: Removing

CAUTION:

Always follow the procedure in the service information when disconnecting the battery. The battery cut-out will be deactivated and damage to the vehicle electrical equipment may occur if the connecting sequence is not followed exactly. Refer to BATTERY .

-- Disconnect the battery. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Remove the bracket for the Comfort System Central Control Module -J393-. Refer to COMFORT SYSTEM CENTRAL CONTROL MODULE -J393- BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

NOTE:

It is necessary to remove the fuse panel on the driver side because there is a wiring harness behind it. The wires can remain connected to the fuse panel.

-- Remove the fuse panel on the driver side. Refer to FUSE HOLDER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the 3 screws -1- and lower the gateway control module bracket -2-. Pay attention to the wires still connected.

-- Open the retainers -arrows- and remove the relay panel -1-.
