Connection And Junction Box 2 -SX2- Inside Plenum Chamber On Left Side, Removing And Installing: Removing

CAUTION:

When disconnecting and connecting the battery, always perform the work procedure as described in the service information. The battery cut-out will be deactivated and damage to the vehicle electrical equipment may occur if the connecting sequence is not followed exactly. Refer to BATTERY .

-- Disconnect the battery. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Remove the wiper arm. Refer to WIPER ARMS, REMOVING .

-- Remove plenum chamber cover PLENUM CHAMBER COVER, REMOVING .

-- Remove the screws -arrows- and the cover from the Connection and Junction Box 2 -SX2-.

NOTE:

The number of multi-pin harness connectors -2- can deviate from the illustration depending on vehicle equipment.

-- Disconnect all the multi-pin connectors -2-, depending on the vehicle equipment level, and remove the wiring harness together with the housing seal -1 and 3- from Connection and Junction Box 2 -SX2-.

-- Remove the five bolts -arrows- and then remove the top of the Connection and Junction Box 2 -SX2- -1-.

-- Remove the lower section of Connection and Junction Box 2 -SX2- from the vehicle.
